Ari Engel extends WSOP-C record to 18 rings
Another Circuit title for the "Phil Hellmuth of the WSOP-C" as Ari Engel goes two clear of Maurice Hawkins.
Ari Engel continues his domination in WSOP-C events with a record 18th win.
Ari was in Philadelphia to play in the online WSOP series taking place there. He took down the $888 online event, which had 61 runners.
A small field WSOP Circuit event in a small ring fenced online player pool is great game selection if you want to extend your ring record. Engel now has two more WSOP-C rings than Maurice Hawkins, in what is perhaps the most competitive title race in poker.
Engel has carved out an unusual career chasing WSOP-C rings, Travelling all over the world, he has won circuit rings in many different places and crucially in almost every format. He has won rings live and online, full ring, heads-up, six-max, NLHE, PLHE, HORSE, Omaha Hi/Lo, PLO and Mystery Bounty.
