Aussie Millions Main Event: Melbournite David Gorr Wins the AUD $2 Million Title
It looks like Gorr's home ground advantage came in useful when he had to outlast James Keys in a marathon heads-up match of over 200 hands. Prior to that, Patrik Antonius was the first player eliminated from the final table.

Team Full Tilt member Patrik Antonius went into the final table looking for his first ever title in a major tournament. Unfortunately, he only lasted for over an hour on the final day of play, before being cruelly eliminated by eventual champ, David Gorr.
With the blinds at 15k/30k, Antonius, Dorfman, Gorr and Moorman all saw the flop of 
in a limped pot. Antonius bet 125k, Dorfman folded, Gorr made it 500k, Moorman got out of the way and Antonius announced, " I guess it's time to go all in".
Antonius had 
but Gorr had out-flopped him with 
. The turn and river of 
were of no help to Antonius, and he went out in 8th place for AUD $130,000.
Gorr stages a big comeback heads-up
After sending Jeff Rossiter to the rails in 3rd place, David Gorr held a massive 5 to 1 chip lead at the start of heads-up play but James Keys was not going to give up easily. It was not the most exciting heads-up match with both players playing a cautious game and mostly passing the blinds around, but Keys was slowly but surely chipping away at Gorr's lead.
After almost 200 hands of heads-up play, Keys had actually reversed the chip counts and Gorr saw himself all in for his last 1.5 million chips, against Keys' roughly 13 million stack. He survived that all in, won a few more small pots, and then doubled back into the lead with 
against . Four hands later, it was all over.
On a flop of 
, Gorr check called a 275k continuation bet into a pot of 450k from Keys. The turn came , and Keys fired 650k after Gorr checked again, Gorr quickly made it 1.65 million, Keys tanked and went all in and Gorr snap called with his covering stack.
Gorr was in some trouble with his 
against Keys' 
, but he had quite a few outs. The 
on the river gave Gorr a better two pair and with it his first ever major tournament score, in a live tournament career that has seen him win about $160k since 1998.
