New Full Tilt Lawsuit from Todd Terry and RICO Plaintiffs

Following the failed RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations) lawsuit filed against Full Tilt last year, the same group of poker pros have now filed a class action lawsuit against Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson.

Lawyer-turned-poker pro Todd Terry and a group of fellow poker professionals have filed a class action lawsuit against Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson, accusing the pair of conversion (unauthorised control of another's possessions) and "unlawful dominion and control" over player funds.

A RICO lawsuit filed against Full Tilt Poker by the same group of poker pros was dismissed earlier this year.

This new case makes several assumptions based on information originally revealed in the amended Black Friday complaint from September 2011. It claims that Lederer and Ferguson's actions are at least partly responsible for US players being unable to access approximately $150 million of deposited money.

Specifically, it alleges that Ferguson and Lederer "[approved] distributions and loans to other owners of Full Tilt Poker from funds directly traceable to player accounts ... the distributions and loans to Lederer, Ferguson and Full Tilt Poker owners were from intermingled funds containing monies from player accounts."

These same allegations are not levelled against Ray Bitar nor Rafe Furst, who were named in the Black Friday complaint and allegedly recieved upwards of $10 million in Full Tilt distributions.
