Ten year old video emerges of US presidential candidate weighing in on how to win at poker.
A video that seemingly dates back to 2006, has been found that shows the US presidential nominee outlining his advice on how to win at poker.
Well, kind of. The video, features a match with "Poker Brat" Phil Helmuth playing at Trump's Taj Mahal casino. A casino that has, in one guise or another, filed for bankruptcy no less than three times under Trump's ownership.
The clip also neglects to mention that even the tiniest of hands, if given the biggest bankroll, can achieve success way beyond their talent.
In truth, the "lessons" doesn’t really stretch much further than your average exercise, business or sales pitch, and Donald, true to form, gives his poker advice before later admitting he knows next to nothing about the game, not unlike his ill-considered presidential policies.
Tony G makes €1 million Brexit bet
Elsewhere in politics and poker collision news, Tony G has challenged UKIP head Nigel Farage to a €1 million prop bet on this week's EU-UK referendum, after the latter placed a £1,000 bet on Brexit happening.
In a letter to Farage, member of the European parliament Tony G, real name Antanas Guoga, laid down the bet that, in the unlikely event that Farage accepts, should the Leave campaign win, the Lithuanian will donate €1 million to the charity of Farage’s choice, but should the leave campaign lose, the reverse would apply.
