A new Power Up power has been added

The first addition to the Power Up deck of power cards has just been added to the PokerStars client.

PokerStars Power Up, which launched last year, looked very much like a step towards mixing poker with esports like Hearthstone. In our interview with Power Up developer Chris Straghalis he confirmed that, like Hearthstone, the game would evolve. 

That has happened this week as a new power card has been added to the deck, the first additional card since the game's launch. 

The new power is called Deploy and it will allow a new card to be added to the board (maximum two per hand) meaning that if you have been chasing a draw and wish there was an extra card after the river, now is your chance. 

The new card is available in Power Up games in the PokerStars lobby and was part of a joint announcement which also saw streamers OP-Poker become official Power Up ambassadors and community hosts:
