At the end of Day 2, the money bubble has burst and just 32 players are left in the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Auckland Main Event. Eric Assadourian is the lone Team PokerStars Pro that is left in the field that is dominated by players from New Zealand.

Local player Jason Brown is the current chip leader and his 632,000 chips puts him well ahead of the chasing pack. Fellow Kiwi Simon Watt is second with 430,500 chips to his name.
