Almost 2,000 Starters on Day 1C

The third of four starting days of this year's Main Event has finally enticed the expected masses into the Rio Hotel and Casino. 1,928 players started into Day 1C and renewed the hopes for an increasing number of participants.

Now 4,383 Starters

After the rather disappointing first two starting days, the officials were able to strike a pleasant balance on Day 1C with 1,928 participants. Together with the 2,455 participants from Day 1A and 1B, 4,383 starters were already counted. Thus tomorrow, further 1,976 players have to join the tables to surpass the 6,358 participants from the previous year. A realistic perception after today.

Pros, Pros, Pros

Of course a large number of pros joined as well. Amongst others, Huckleberry Seed, Gavin Griffin, Justin Bonomo, J.C.
Tran, T.J. Cloutier, Tony G and Marcel Luske were seen at the tables. But they all had to join the rails on the first day already.

The German Participants

The poker boom in Germany bears fruit and thus on this day there were again several Germans amongst the starters. Michael
Keiner, Eddy Scharf, Marten Jensen, Sasa Biorac, Markus Ross, Jörg
Peisert, Christophe Gross and Marten Jensen could be found at the tables.

Definitely out is unfortunately Michael Keiner. About the remaining Germans there is no specific information as they are not listed in the chip count. The chip counts of the Main Event are unfortunately limited to a fraction of the starters.
