Ante trial ends at the Zoom micro stakes

The trial continues at higher stakes, but ante tables are no longer at NL2 or NL5 where the antes were the same size as the small blind.

Earlier this month we brought you the news that PokerStars were testing out ante games at Zoom stakes NL2 to NL10, as well as PLO2 to PLO10. 

We speculated at the time this was with a view to roll it out to other stakes if it went well, which has happened, but quite surprisingly NL2 to NL5 are back to being ante free. 

The ante tables are now at NL10 to NL25, as well as PLO10 to PLO25. The NL10 ante remains at $0.01 and the NL25 ante is $0.03. 

This could be just part of the trial, but perhaps it was because at the smaller stakes the antes were huge relative to the blinds. At NL2 the ante was the same size as the small blind, which made the pots overblown.
