Asian Poker Tour 2008

The Asian Poker Tour 2008 will organize four events and has just announced the starting date of their first event.

This years series kicks off with a six-day
event, starting on May 27th, located in the capital of the Philippines, Manila. The buy-in will be $ 2,500 and the
organizers expect about 400 participants. Even if the amount of participants
isn't reached, Manilla will have an APT guaranteed  prize pool of $1 million.
 
This also applies to the other three tournaments in the APT 2008. These will be held in Macao, the so-called Las Vegas
of the East, South Korea and
Singapore.
The dates for these events are still not clear.

For 2009, the APT has planned to extend their series to six tournaments.
