Chris Ferguson Close to FTOPS Gold in Event #13

Team Full Tilt Pro Chris "Jesus" Ferguson was close to taking down FTOPS Event #13, when he reached the final table as chip leader. Unfortunately for him, he ended his run in 5th place for $68,854.80.

The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is in full swing, with around half of its events already over. One particular mention goes to Full Tilt Pro Chris "Jesus" Ferguson (pictured right), who had a particularly good run in Event #13, a $300 + $22 tournament with $1,250,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Ferguson: Close, but not close enough

A total of 4,684 players made their way to the virtual tables of this event, boosting the prize pool up to $1,405,200. Ferguson made it deep in the tournament, eventually getting to the final table as chip leader.

However, he could not hold on to his stack and he got eliminated in 5th place, after his A-Q came across andinista's pocket rockets. For his run, Ferguson picked up a payout of $68,854.80. The player who eliminated him proceeded to win the event, cashing over $200,000 for his accomplishments.
