Chris Hunichen wins the $100,000 High Roller
A first bracelet and almost $3 million for 'Big Huni' at a stacked final table at the World Series of Poker.
112 entries in the $100,000 High Roller at the World Series of Poker, making it the biggest field yet in this particular event.
It was another star-studded finale that included Chance Kornuth, Viktor Blom (both of whom made the $50,000 final table last week), Justin Saliba, Jeremy Ausmus and Isaac Haxton.
But it would be Chris 'Big Huni' Hunichen who took it down for his first career bracelet and $2,838,389 - the biggest prize awarded so far this year at the World Series.
The atmosphere was wild and in particular, the final hand, which denied Ausmus his 7th career bracelet:

"No one's ever due in poker, but I feel like I was due," Hunichen told PokerNews after the win. "And I've been in this position a couple times, got unlucky, a couple seconds. It was my time."
No rest for the High Rollers as the $250,000 Super High Roller - the biggest buy-in of the series - gets underway from today.
