Brian Koppleman and David Levien's cult film Rounders has been credited as the catalyst for many poker careers and, with the release of their latest effort just around the corner, hopes are high that it will enjoy the same appeal.
Runner, Runner, is set for release in September and in the last few days the official trailer for the movie has been released.
The new trailer features Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck and gives viewers a glimpse into a world of money, lies and deceit.
According to the teaser on IMDB, Runner, Runner is about "a businessman who owns an offshore gambling operation finds his relationship with his protégé reaching a boiling point."

A German poker player has helped trigger a bad beat jackpot the ended in 107 players splitting $914,000.
Playing a cash game inside Planet Hollywood Casino, Las Vegas, Robert Kopke moved all-in pre-flop with pocket kings and found a willing caller in Jungok Whang.
After Whang tabled pocket aces, an 
flop gave Whang an unbeatable hand but, more importantly, opened up the possibility of a huge jackpot payment.
With the entire poker room watching, the 
on the turn caused an eruption of cheers as the insignificant the river brought the hand to a close and a start to the money payouts.
For being on the wrong end of the bad beat, Kopke scooped $182,952 while Whang banked $91,447 for her part in the hand.
On top of that, the rest of players in the room each took home $5,982 just for being at the right place at the right time.

Yesterday saw two more events come to a conclusion, including one of the most anticipated tournaments of the series: the Heads-Up Championship.
After welcoming 239 players, the $11 event produced some strong performances from our community members and PokerStrategy.com representatives.
However, while players ratatuj (11th - $52.50), thazar (10th - $52.50) and joenote (8th - $97.50) all enjoyed deep runs, one of our most experienced players,
