David Costabile Wins Stars CALL For Action
The star of The Wire and Breaking Bad takes down the star-studded charity poker tournament for $100,000

One of the few silver linings of a global lockdown is it is quite easy to round up a lot of celebrities and get them to play in your charity poker tournament.
Stars CALL For Action saw some of the biggest names in Hollywood play a Play Money tournament with $1 million in actual money donated to charity on the winners' behalves.
Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Amy Schumer, Michael Cera, Jon Hamm, Neymar Jr., Don Cheadle, Jeff Garlin, David Schwimmer, Edward Norton, Macaulay Culkin, Lisa Kudrow, Don Cheadle, Teri Hatcher, Kevin Pollak, David Arquette, Liam Payne, Ricky Williams, Jack Black and Jason Alexander all took part, as well as members of the public and PokerStars Pros.
The final table consisted of Chris Moneymaker, Casey Affleck, Jennifer Shahade, footballer Douglas Costa and eventual winner David Costabile. Also at the table was online player 'TheLordLord' who won $15,000 for their chosen charity and who won their seat via a PlayMoney qualifier.
If you are trying to remember where you have seen Costabile, he has starred in some of the best shows ever made including Breaking Bad, The Wire, Billions and Flight of the Conchords.
He donated his $100,000 winnings to World Central Kitchen, a charity which donates food supplies to people who really need it. Half of the overall $1 million prize pool went to Care International. English footballer Wayne Bridge won a second chance celebrity tournament and $50,000 for his chosen charity.
