Down to three in the November Nine
No PokerStrategists remain in the big one as three men are left to fight for the $8 million first prize.
For the second day in a row it was the Qui Nguyen show at the WSOP Main Event final table as the amateur player extended his chip lead to end with more than half the chips in play.
PokerStrategist Vojtech '' Ruzicka was the first to exit early on, followed by Michael Ruane who was the first player to leave with more than double the $1 million he left Vegas with in July, taking down $2,576,003. Both men fell at the hands of Nguyen.
Now the only thing that stands in Nguyen's way is Gordon Vayo and Cliff Josephy. The three men played on for a while after the elimination of Ruane, but play was halted and all three will play down to a winner tonight.
They are all guaranteed at least $3,453,035 but at this point it is all about the title and the $8,005,310 first prize.
