EPT Berlin Begins Tomorrow
Tomorrow the PokerStars European Poker Tour arrives in Berlin. One of hundreds of players will be skilled enough and run good enough to match Ben Wilinofsky's victory in 2011.

The PokerStars European Poker Tour Berlin begins tomorrow with the €5,300 Main Event. In addition, a host of side events with buy-ins ranging from €330 to €10,300 will be playing out over the course of the next six days.
This time last year...
The 2011 EPT Berlin attracted a field of 773 entrants for a prize pool or more than €3.9 million. At the end of the five-day event, it was Canadian online grinder Ben "NeverScaredB" Wilinofsky who prevailed to win the first prize of €825,000.
The final hand saw eventual runner-up, Max hotkarlmc Heinzelmann, check-raise all-in with

. Wilinofsky called with just 
, acknowledging that he was ahead of some of Heinzelmann's range. The 
on the turn made his draw but gave the railbirds a sweat before the 
sealed the tournament for "NeverScaredB".
EPT Berlin 2012
Last year's 773-strong field can be improved on this year, as Berlin's Grand Hyatt hotel has expanded the tournament area to accommodate up to 1,300 players. Located opposite Casino Berlin, the ballroom can accommodate up to 450 players on each starting day with an additional 20 tournament tables.
A host of big names are expected to attend, with PokerStars Pros confirming their participation. Barry Greenstein, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Eugene Katchalov, Jason Mercier, Jonathan Duhamel, Lex Veldhuis, Liv Boeree, Vanessa Selbst and reigning WSOP champion Pius Heinz all playing the Main Event.
