EPT Campione Day 1b: Chouity Leads Pro-Heavy Field
Day 1b at the PokerStars EPT Campione attracted tons of well-known pros, and at the end of play Nicolas Chouity boasted the largest chip stack. Find out what else happened.

Day 1a at the PokerStars EPT Campione was quiet, but Day 1b was a bit more hectic with tons of players showing up - including many well-known pros. A massive 392 players entered the event on Day 1b, and in addition to the 178 Day 1a entrants the total attendance for this event is 570 players. 396 of them will return to play Day 2 today.

Chouity in Charge - Lebanese poker pro Nicolas Chouity is no stranger to tournament poker success. He has over $2.6 million in career tournament earnings, including a massive $2.2 million victory at the 2010 EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo. Chouity spent most of the day increasing his stack, and finished with the lead of 165,900 chips.
Who busted? - You can check out the chip count chart below to see the long list of well-known players who are still alive, but the most noteworthy players who met their demise on Day 1b include Martin Staszko, Lex Veldhuis, Michael Tureniec, Steve O'Dwyer, Dario Minieri, Dominik Nitsche, and Vanessa Selbst.
The country composition - One of the most interesting aspects of the EPT is that it truly draws players from all over the world. 570 players from 48 countries entered the event:
