EPT Tallinn: Demidov Second After Day 2

Day 2 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour in Tallinn concluded with WSOP 2008 1st Runner-up Ivan Demidov in second place. Team PokerStrategy.com members CuCbKu and Allanon have both hit the rails.

Only 87 players remain after Day 2 of the PokerStars EPT Tallinn. British qualifier Jonathan Weekes holds a huge chip lead with 751,900 chips, while November Niner Ivan Demidov is second with 480,400.

Team PokerStrategy.com members Andrey CuCbKu Mitlyansky and Daniel Allanon Drescher were among the 209 players at the start of the day, but both did not make it through Day 2.

Allanon and CuCbKu hit the rails

"Had a crazy table, 3bet or 4bet every 2nd pot," said CuCbKu who was seated with Ivan Demidov. In his final hand, he made a 4-bet push with K-J suited against a button squeeze after already putting in a quarter of his stack. Villain called with Q-Q and CuCbKu could not improve by the river.

Fellow team member Allanon, lost a race for all his chips after going all in with preflop. His opponent called with and the board of was of no help to our player.

Other notables still in the running include Team PokerStars Pros Luca Pagano, Arnaud Mattern, Katja Thater and Michael Keiner. Pagano is set to make his 15th EPT cash if he outlasts another 21 players.
