Eelis Parssinen wins $100k PLO Main Event
The Finnish high stakes star could make a claim for being the best PLO tournament player in the world.
The Triton series in Monte Carlo has concluded with the $100,000 PLO Main Event.
87 entries in total and one of the big names in Pot Limit Omaha tournaments taking it down for $2,270,000.
At a final table that included Daniel Dvoress, Sean Winter, Phil Ivey, Haralabob Voulgaris and Alex Foxen, Eelis Parssinen reigned supreme.
His resume in PLO tournaments is something to behold. He has four PokerGO Tour titles in Pot Limit Omaha and a No Limit/PLO mix bracelet at the WSOP. Now he has a Triton PLO title too.
“These are tough, tough weeks,” Parssinen said. “These guys are playing everything 12 hours a day. Have to respect these guys, grinding their ass off.”
