Find out how you can help bring back The Micros

In today's Daily Rewind we look forward to the prospect of more Micros and prepare to play in Prague with Rafa Nadal.

Bring them back

The poker world's favourite animated characters, The Micros, could be making a return to our screens in the next few months according to Jay Rosenkrantz.

After an old Micros thread was revived on 2+2, the show's producer decided to let people know that he and the show's creators are thinking about setting up Kickstarter campaign to fund a new project:

"We do need a sponsor, though lately we have been kicking around the idea of Kickstarting weekly web comics (to continue the story) with the animated series as a stretch goal. If the fans came out with big support, maybe it could convince a sponsor or two to chip in with the rest of the chips."

As yet the plans are still in an embryonic stage, but if things are to go ahead then Jay has earmarked March as a likely time for the funding effort to begin.

Rafa's new game

"Tight is right" and "poker is similar to sport" might sound somewhat clichéd to those of us who've been around the game for a while, but for Rafa Nadal they were sage words ahead of his live debut in Prague.

After months of coaching from his mentor, Alfonso, Rafa finally took to the felt during EPT Prague for a special Sit&Go with some sporting greats and Daniel Negreanu.

In a recent video release from PokerStars we relive the moments leading up to his first poker victory.

Although Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom continued to thrive in the last 24 hours, it was Isaac 'luvtheWNBA' Haxton who topped the latest high stakes leaderboard. After grinding through 473 hands the American pro managed to scoop $499,332 and finish well ahead of Blom who banked $160,470.

Suffering at the hands of Haxton and Blom on Tuesday was Alex 'IReadYrSoul' Millar. The British pro fell to a $659,520 loss over the course of 1,389 hands and ended the day ahead of Kyle 'KPR16' Ray and 'ChaoRen160'.
