First 2026 World Poker Tour stops announced

The World Poker Tour are getting in the pot early after announcing the first stops for their 2026 live poker schedule ahead of time.

Hot on the heels of the WPT World Championships festival, the World Poker Tour are ramping up preparations for Season 24 and have announced the first six months schedule of 2026 earlier than their usual January bulletin. Heading to Las Vegas, Florida, Cambodia, Cyprus and California, the WPT will entertain thousands of poker players will seven-figure guarantees in each location.

The WPT’s long-time CEO Adam Pliska described the forthcoming tour as travelling to “a world-class Mediterranean setting to iconic venues like The Venetian and Thunder Valley’ as he spoke about his excitement in leading the WPT around the world once again.

“We’re thrilled to continue delivering premier poker experiences to players around the globe,” he said. “I look forward to watching these tournaments unfold and welcoming the players to another unforgettable season of the WPT.”

Five stops have been announced for 2026 so far, and as usual, the iconic live tour is heading to some far-flung corners of the world in pursuit of poker moments to remember.

Where are the WPT heading in 2026?

Season 24 of the World Poker Tour kicks off in familiar territory, as the WPT head to Florida and the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open, which takes place between January 6th - 20th. Recently embroiled in Thailand's flip-flop policy on legalizing gambling in the Far East, the WPT Cambodia festival kicks off a day later on January 21st, running until February 3rd and featuring a $1,100-entry WPT Prime Championship with a $750,000 guarantee and a $3,500 WPT Championship event which guarantees $1.5m.

From February 9th-24th, players will descend on Sin City as the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Spring Championship festival plays out. The jewel in the crown will be the Championship event which is scheduled between February 19th and 24th, costing $5,000 to play and guaranteeing $2m inside The Venetian Poker Room, one of the toughest venues to play at in the game.

In March, the WPT head back to Cyprus and a festival that lasts from February 25th to March 9th. Across 13 days of competition, the WPT Prime Cyprus Championship boasts a $1m guarantee for the $1,100 buy-in among a host of great value events. From March 16th, the WPT Rolling Thunder festival comes to Northern California, with the Championship event starting on March 29th and ending on April Fools Day.

With more pressure on the World Poker Tour than ever before after last week’s record-breaking Super Main Event at WSOP Paradise, the historic tour looks set to come out all guns blazing in 2026.
