Full Tilt Poker Beta Testing Rush Poker Mobile

Full Tilt Poker has just begun a closed beta for the mobile version of its Rush Poker game. Invitations have been sent out to selected Black Card members to participate in it.

If you are a Black Card holder on Full Tilt Poker, you might want to double-check your email inbox. You could be one of the lucky players who have been invited to participate in the closed beta for the mobile version of Rush Poker.

For those of you who did not get an invite, Full Tilt Poker should be proceeding to the open beta stage soon, if everything goes well in the closed beta. All of you will get to check it out then.

Android only, no support for iPhone yet

Currently, Rush Poker Mobile is only available on Android-powered smart phones like the Motorola Droid 2, Google Nexus One, HTC Evo 4G, and more.

Unfortunately, users of the Apple iPhone will have to wait for a while before a version of the Mobile Rush Poker is made available to them. The current application is developed in Flash, which is not supported by the iPhone.

Basically, the beta testers will be asked to visit a web page where the application launches without installing itself on the phone. You can only play one Rush Poker table at a time on the mobile version and three buttons are available to "Fold", "Call" or "Raise". When the "Raise" button is selected, a slider is revealed for you to set the bet size.

Other than some possible lag due to the slower mobile networks, the rest of the game pretty much plays like the one on your PC.
