Full Tilt Poker Introduces Draw Poker

After the recent software upgrade, a whole range of Draw Poker games, including Badugi, can now be played on Full Tilt Poker. Besides this, the hand replayer has also been significantly improved.

The latest round of updates to Full Tilt Poker's software was released on Thursday, without much fanfare. However, it included two significant improvements, namely the addition of five Draw Poker games and several upgrades to the built in hand replayer.

Five new Draw Poker games

All five of these new games will be available as ring games, or in various tournament formats, including the 10-game mix tournament. These games will also be making an appearance in the upcoming Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS).

To find these new games, just select "Draw" from the game type selection menu and you will see the Fixed Limit, Pot Limit or No Limit variants of these new games, as shown in the image near the bottom of the page.

The five new Draw Poker games are:

• 5-Card Draw - one draw round and only the high hand is played. Click here for the rules.
• 2-7 Triple Draw - three draw rounds and players play for the best low hand, 7-5-4-3-2 unsuited. Click here for the rules.
• 2-7 Single Draw - similar to 2-7 Triple Draw, but with only one draw round. Click here for the rules.
• A-5 Triple Draw - Same as 2-7 Triple Draw, but the nuts is 5-4-3-2-A (flush is ignored). Click here for the rules.
• Badugi - features only four pocket cards and you play to make the best low hand using all four suits. Click here for the rules.

Improved Hand Replayer

Despite already having one of the best built in hand replayers among the various poker clients, Full Tilt Poker chose not to rest on their laurels and have added several exciting new features to it. The three new features are:

• Jump ahead - There are now buttons that allow you to jump ahead to the flop, turn or river, to fourth street or beyond in Stud games, or to any draw round in Draw Poker games.
• Speed control - This feature allows you to replay the hands at the default speed, or at any speed of between 50% to 400%.
• Continuous Play - You can now select a list of hands and have them played out continuously without interruption. You will also be able to sort them using the columns in the hand selection list.
