Gus loses big in Rozvadov
While all eyes were on nosebleed star Viktor Blom, another infamous high stakes player was on the opposite end of the profit rankings during the partypoker LIVE Germany event in Rozvadov.
Gus Hansen is still giving action in the high stakes cash games and last week revealed on Instagram he lost a €500,000 pot during his time there:
Big winners in the UK
Two massive events concluded yesterday in the United Kingdom. Over in London Unibet started their 2018 tour by hosting 349 players in their £990 Main Event at the Victoria Casino. It was won by 22-year-old Norwegian student Andreas Wiborg who took down £56,807.
Elsewhere in Nottingham at Dusk Till Dawn the partypoker UK Poker Championships attracted an impressive 1,076 entries which culminated in a £187,500 win for Chris Brice of the UK.

American Poker Awards winners
Last week in LA the American Poker Awards took place and the big talking point was perhaps the absence of Doug Polk from the winner's circle despite being nominated for three awards.
