Hastings and Pescatori both win two WSOP bracelets
Two thirds of the way through the WSOP and both Brian Hastings and Max Pescatori have won their second bracelets of the 2015 series.
Every year at the WSOP we have at least one double bracelet winner, and this weekend it happened twice.
Brian Hastings captured his second bracelet of the series (Third overall) in the $1,500 Ten Game Mix.
380 players entered and he overcame a final table that included Todd Brunson and Mike Watson to claim the $133,403 first prize.
Hastings has famously booked a number of lucrative bracelet bets this series, which were said to have already doubled his earnings from his first bracelet win this year. It is likely his overall earnings this series are in the seven-figures now.
Pescatori wins $10,000 Stud Hi/Lo
Italian all-time money leader Max Pescatori has also just captured his second bracelet of the series (4th overall).
He has won the $10,000 Stud Hi/Lo Championship for $292,158, to go with his $1,500 Razz bracelet.
111 players entered this event and Pescatori bested a tough final table that included Daniel Negreanu, Gary Benson and Stephen Chidwick.
Both these wins put Hastings and Pescatori in the running for WSOP Player of the Series, which is still currently led by Paul Volpe.
