High Stakes Action: Isildur1 Against the World
Online high stakes poker has turned into top pros battling against the unknown Swede Isildur1. While Phil Ivey won $900k against him, Ziigmund lost a million and even Patrik Antonius suffered a $330k loss.
It seems that Isildur1 does not sleep, eat nor tilt, as the online high stakes tables have been under his constant assault for the past few weeks and there are no signs of him slowing down.
Multi-tabling madness against pros
After suffering a $2.7 million loss against Patrik Antonius, Isildur1 got down back to business and played nearly 10,000 hands earlier this week against Phil Ivey, Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Cole South, all at the same time.
Playing six heads-up tables seemed like a dangerous business, especially when Isildur1 started losing to both South and durrrr, but he showed his strength yet again. Even though durrrr was winning $1.5 million against him, Isildur1 found a way to work his way up to a $160k profit. Similar story occurred in his match against South, where the latter was up by $1 million before surrendering $550k to the Swede.
A $900k victory for Ivey
According to Highstakesdb, the only player who managed to take money from Isildur1 and keep it was Phil Ivey (pictured right). They played NLHE $500/$1,000 on two tables for 3 hours and after less than 1,000 hands played, it was Ivey who walked away with a $900k profit.
Always looking for more action, Isildur1 returned to the tables on the next day and played over 3,000 hands of $500/$1,000 PLO against Patrik Antonius and Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies. While Antonius lost $330k, Ziigmund had a much worse session, shipping $1 million to Isildur1.
