High Stakes Action: Urindanger Earns Over $800k
One giant leap for Urindanger, many small steps backwards for his opposition. That would be a summary of the recent action at the online high stakes tables.
With no more WSOP events to fill up their schedules, poker pros havereturned to their peaceful daily routine - playing online cash games,
losing or winning millions and occasionally flaming each other to keep
themselves awake in longer sessions.
Likes of Gus Hansen, Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond (pictured right), Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro and some more adventurous spirits were all seen at the PLO $200/$400 tables lately. The man who has proven to be most successful thus far is
Urindanger, at least in the last couple of days. Urindanger has managed
to earn $834,000 in 8.5k hands played since 14th of July.
Urindanger Steamrolls The Competition
Urindanger took down most of the big pots at the PLO tables, especially against Gus Hansen (pictured right) who will most likely end another month in minus, even though he has performed quite well - but the coin flips just seem to favour his opponents more often than not.
In a $200/$400 PLO session against Hansen, Brian Townsend and Phil
Galfond, Urindanger scooped several nice pots, including one worth
$250,000. As if winning a hefty pot wasn't enough, Urindanger also had
to flame Hansen for slowplaying a bottom set, claiming that he would
bust him soon enough, so that he "won't have any more money to slowroll with."
Action in that hand began with Galfond raising to $1,200, Urindanger
made the call, Hansen raised to $5,480, Townsend folded and both
Galfond and Urindanger called. The flop came

Hansen led out for $10,400, Galfond raised to $25,200 and Urindanger
re-raised to $103,120, enough to put both of his opponents all-in.
Hansen called with his remaining $53,606 and Galfond with $59,126.
Two more cards were revealed and the final board read

for a flopped set which turned into dust on the turn as Galfond made a nut flush with 
, but Urindanger rivered a full house with 
to take down the $249,776 pot.
Urindanger has certainly been quite successful lately, but with likes of Patrik Antonius and Tom "durrrr" Dwan joining the tables, the question is for how long will his hot run last? Either way, the online high stakes tables will certainly see plenty of action in the following days.
