High Stakes Poker is an US Poker series on GSN. The most famous poker players participate in this show where the main focus is not on tournaments but on cash games.

Due to the interesting format and the famous guests High Stakes Poker is one of the most viewed Poker series on TV.

In the 4th season of High Stakes Poker the buy-in is $500,000. The famous players in this show are:

Gus Hansen vs. Daniel Negreanu:
Both players fought for the biggest pot so far in High Stakes Poker history. Both players flopped a set. Daniel Negreanu loses with the bigger set because Gus Hansen hits quads on the turn. The pot was $575,700:

Greenstein vs. Farha
One of the most famous hands at all. This hand was the last hand of the fifth episode of the first season. Berry Greenstein gets dealt pocket aces and Sam Farha pocket kings. Greenstein 3bets preflop and Sam Farha pushes all-in after a long time of thinking. Greenstein calls quickly but on the flop Farha catches a king and wins the $361,800 pot:

Negreanu vs. Kaplan
In the third season Daniel Negreanu offers High Stakes Poker commentator Gabe Kaplan to change seats. Kaplan plays two episodes with the pros while Negreanu is a moderator. Gabe Kaplan gets the former buy-in of $100,000 from Doyle Brunson. After the two episodes Kaplan leaves the table as a winner:
