High Stakes Ranking October: durrrr up $1 Million, Ziigmund down $1.7 Million
Tom "durrrr" Dwan continued his good run after topping the rankings in October. Ziigmund meanwhile, lost all of his profits for the year, after a disastrous month where he was the only player to lose over $1 million.

According to Highstakesdb, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies (pictured right) was the only player who broke the $1 million mark this October in either end of the high stakes rankings.
Ziigmund's huge losses of over $1.7 million at the Full Tilt Poker tables have wiped out all of his winnings for 2010, and that leaves him over $550k in the red for the year.
Gus Hansen recovers his early losses
One name that is surprisingly missing from the top 10 tables is Gus Hansen, who has been a fixture on the top 10 losers table. Things had looked bleak for Hansen who was already down by over $1.5 million just 10 days into the month.
To the surprise of many, Hansen made a huge turnaround and actually ended the month with a profit of $184k, much of it coming from Ziigmund, including the latest session where he took another $245k from the Finnish pro in $200/$400 Cap PLO.
durrrr back on top, skjervoy wins $726/hand
While Tom "durrrr" Dwan once again topped the tables with close to $1 million in winnings from 8,825 hands, second placed Andreas "skerjvoy" Torbergsen picked up $755k from playing just 1,040 hands. This is a second month of great results for the Norwegian pro after he topped the tables in September for a profit of $1.53 million.
Others who also did very well in October include jungleman12, ($608,032.90 in 11,268 hands), who is the current biggest winner in 2010. Patrik Antonius also performed quite nicely last month, as he earned $612k from 4,597 hands.
