Isildur1 Crushes Rui Cao in the SuperStar Showdown

After an eight week hiatus, Victor 'Isildur1' Blom has come back to the SuperStar Showdown with his game face on. In only 2,257 hands, Isildur1 felted Rui 'PepperoniF' Cao for $150,000.

The SuperStar Showdown between Isildur1 and Rui Cao ended just shy of the 2,500 hands (1,250 of NLHE and 1,250 of PLO) they were scheduled to play.

It only took 60 seconds before Isildur1 went all-in, a move that won him $20,000. Here's how the hand played out:

Cao had and Blom had . Blom called Cao's pre-flop 3-bet and the flop came down . Cao led out on that flop, but got raised by Blom to which he responded with a hearty 3-bet that got all his money in, even though he only had two pairs and a gutshot. Blom called and the on the turn gave Cao the better two pair, but Blom hit the flush on the river when the came.

Isildur1 kept his momentum the entire game until the match came to a sudden end, only 2,257 hands in. Isildur1 won $150,000 and marked another win on his 8-2 record.
