Ivey, Hansen And durrrr On Top

Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen and Tom 'durrrr' Dwan dominated the Full Tilt High Stakes in October. Together, they already combined winnings of over $4M according to Highstakesdb.

Ivey and Hansen especially profited from their H.O.R.S.E. and Omaha matches, while durrrr's winnings mainly came from the Hold'em games. It was there that he won almost $1.8M in October, of which he keeps $1.2M after subtracting his losses in other variants. Thus durrrr was already able to book $3.3M on his credit side since 2007.

Gus Hansen won $1.3M in October, and Phil Ivey (picture on the right) even over $1.5M. Together with his winnings of $2.2M in September, Ivey thus increased his annual profits to a breath-taking $6M. Since 2007, it is even $8M, which makes him the most successful High Stakes player of the last two years on Full Tilt Poker by far.

Meanwhile, the biggest losers in October are no unknowns either. Guy Laliberté (picture on the left), better known as 'lady marmelade' on Full Tilt, donated over $700,000 himself. In the past two years, he even left behind $4.3M on the High Stakes so far. Patrik Antonius was also unable to find the winning ways in October  – minus $730,000 for the Finn. David Benyamine lost about half of his September winnings with almost $600,000. However, he will be able to cope with it. With over $5M in winnings since 2007, he is the second-most successful Full Tilt player of the past years after Phil Ivey.

Counted amongst the biggest losers is actually Niki Jedlicka (picture on the right) as well, who is listed up with a loss of $2.2M. However, he still has profits of $3.2M with his nickname 'KaiBuxxe'.
