Jason Koon wins record 8th Triton Poker title
Another seven-figure score and title for Jason Koon after he bested a stacked final table in London.
As night follows day, so do Triton titles follow Jason Koon.
Just four months after winning his record 7th title he is in the winner's circle yet again on the tour. He took down the $60,000 7-Handed event for $1,570,000, extending his own Triton record to 8 trophies.
As always it was a murderer's row of a final table that included Phil Ivey, Dan Smith, Espen Jorstad, Justin Saliba, and Alex Kulev.
“It might be getting old for you, man, but I like it, I’ll keep doing it,” he said after the win. “It’s the same story in a lot of ways. I play because I love the game. I play a lot less than I used to but when I show up I’m very focused and I’m the best version of myself.”
