Jektiss second in WCOOP Event #43

PokerStrategist jektiss finished second in the WCOOP Event #43. This achievement secured him the prize money of $190,000. First-ranked was PokerStars Pro Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier.

Assuring one million Dollars, attracted nearly 10,000 players as PokerStars invited to the Event #43 of the World Championship of Online Poker, a $200 + 15 NLH event. The prize pool exceeded the assured amount easily and in the end of the day there were astounding $1,844,000 in the pool.

In the end, 1,350 of the 9,220 players were able to cash. One, who played for his share to the very end was PokerStrategist jektiss from southern Lower-Saxony, Germany. In the heads-up jektiss encountered PokerStars Pro Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier. After almost 18 hours of poker action, the two of them being nearly even in stacks, met for the final duel.

Ultimately, it was ElkY who got in the lead. In the final hand of the tournament the Frenchman with a clear chiplead pushed all-in with . jektiss called with and went with a 65% chance of winning into the final hand. The flop  even brought along 75% chances of winning in favour of jektiss. However, the on the river destroyed any hopes of his first WCOOP bracelet for our member.  On the contrary, ElkY could be chuffed about his second bracelet in the WCOOP in 2009.
