Major changes to the 888poker loyalty scheme
The loyalty scheme at 888poker is set to have a major facelift on March 28, where it will be rebranded as 888poker Club.
The biggest change is that the amount you rake will not be the only factor in how much you earn. You earn 888poker Club points every time you complete missions, some of which are rake based and some of which reward other forms of loyalty.
Whenever you earn enough points you move up a status level, at which point you receive Gold Tokens which can be exchanged for prizes in the 888poker Store. Rake alone will not always get you to the next level and there will be an emphasis on the more fun side of the game to get to the next level.
Players will receive a Club Scratchcard every time they climb five levels, which awards a random prize. There will also be $100,000 in Club Tournament tickets awarded every month to players hitting certain levels.
No details on what these Missions will look like. They will be available in the 'My Account' part of the 888poker client on launch day. Different players will have different Missions and your starting status level will be determined by your previous activity on 888poker.
Your current poker points will be migrated to Gold Tokens on the day of launch with equal value to what they are now. 888poker has made it clear that any previous cashback commitments, including yearly cashback for VIPs, will be fully honoured.
888poker have stated that most players will be better off with this new VIP scheme. We'll have more details on the 888poker Club closer to when it goes live.
