Maria Lampropulos wins 2018 PCA Main Event
Argentine picks up $1,081,100 for her win in the Caribbean Adventure and becomes the first women to cash for seven figures twice inside 12 months.

Maria Lampropulos became the first ever woman to bank multiple million dollar plus scores within 12-months after she took home the PCA Main Event on Sunday to add to her victory in last year’s partypoker MILLIONS event.
The Main Event lasted for six days but came to head yesterday when the Argentine became the last person standing from a field of 582 for which she collected a tidy $1,081,100 to feed into her live career earnings of $2,798,141.

Third in the all-time Argentinian money list
In April last year, Maria saw off a 1,204-strong field to win the partypoker MILLIONS Live in Nottingham for $1,255,004, which remains her career biggest score to date. She has also moved up to third in the all-time Argentinian money list.
Along with last night’s prize money, Lampropulos takes home a $30,000 Platinum Pass to the PokerStars Players Championship which takes place at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas next January.
