Moritz Dietrich wins WSOP Online Main Event
The biggest online tournament in history awarded the biggest online prize in poker history last night to a player from Germany.
Once again the GGPoker WSOP Online Main Event has become the biggest online tournament in history.
6,146 entries for the $5,000 Main Event have created a prize pool of $29,193,500 - breaking the record last year of $28,609,250. Now the top four biggest prize pools in online poker history have been in this event.
It concluded last night with Moritz Dietrich of Germany taking it down for $4,021,012 - the biggest prize in online poker history.
It was a tough final table that included Bencb and Isaac Baron, the latter taking perhaps the worst bad beat ever seen at a WSOP final table:

The win also means that Germany is currently topping the online bracelet rankings, however, there are still some bracelets left to be won. This includes Day 2 of the $25,000 Super High Roller which will award $1,122,201 to somebody tonight.
