New MTT schedule at PokerStars
With regimented start times and colour coded tourneys, the new schedule makes it easier to find your favourite tournaments.
Yesterday saw the launch of PokerStars' new MTT schedule making the site much simpler for users to find their preferred tournaments. The main features of the new timetable are improved timing and instantly recognisable games.
One of the standout new additions is a bigger and more conveniently timed daily major that will take place three times a day at 05:00, 14:00, and 19:00 ET, meaning that players universally will know what to expect and when to expect it.
So as to include bankrolls of all sizes, every Major now has a 'mini' version at 1/10th the price, and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays there will also be a 'micro' version at 1/100th the price of the Major.
There will also be at least one Bounty Builder or Omania tournament every hour too, featuring higher and lower buy-ins than before. All of PokerStars unique special events such as Phase, n-stack, Zoom, Ante-Up and shootouts all remain in the new schedule as well.
Branded tournament the Daily Bigs now starts every hour on the hour, while the Hot Turbos will begin hourly at quarter-past. Every half-past the hour Bounty Builders will begin, with four additional micro-stakes versions of all three tourneys available daily during peak time.
Even PokerStars' flagship Sunday Million tournament wasn’t safe from review and has received a new timeslot of 14:00 ET. So too, does the Sunday Storm which now starts at 13:00 ET. These changes are part of an enhanced weekend tournament offering, with more events added to the popular Sunday Million, Kickoff, Warm-Up, and Storm tournaments.

Colour coded for easy navigation
With such a comprehensive and diverse tournament schedule, PokerStars have accepted that previously it had been difficult for everyone to find the game they were looking for. By creating a streamlined schedule they have addressed this and, by using colour coding, they have also ensured that tournaments will be instantly visible.
Majors now appear in bold blue, the daily recurring tournament series are bold red, with everything else written in black.
