New software coming to 888poker
A long awaited software overhaul is coming to 888poker later on this year, the first one since before Black Friday.
'Poker 8' will featured improved table displays, enhanced graphics and a more functional lobby.
There is also set to be a new game format to be launched in the next month known as 'Pik'em Poker', which as yet nothing is known about.
888poker have also announced they are introducing PKO tournaments, starting with a $1 million guaranteed event next weekend.
This comes following a big decline in poker revenues for the 888 group, a drop of 28% on the previous year.
partypoker LIVE beat a huge overlay
The £5,000 UK MILLIONS event at Dusk Till Dawn looked like it was going to have a huge overlay this week, with just 224 players (and 1,000 needed) at the end of Day 1B.
But say the word overlay to the poker world and you will get a mass exodus of players, and after a huge Day 1C which saw 536 entries, followed by late registration on Day 2, it actually managed to beat the guarantee.
224 of the 1,015 entries remain and they will be playing for a top prize of £1 million throughout the rest of this week.

Bounty series coming to PokerStars
We'll bring you more details on this soon but PokerStars have just unveiled a bounty themed online festival starting this Sunday.
Over 100 PKO style events will feature, with buy-ins between $1.10 all the way up to $2,100, as well as a $530 Main Event on October 21 with a $2 million guarantee.
Spin & Go qualifiers and satellites have already begun, and a special $25,000 freeroll will take place for anyone who claims at least one bounty during the series.
