The PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) hosts some of the most successful poker tournaments in the world.

EPT Season 8 launched earlier this month in Tallinn, Estonia. Ronny Kaiser of Switzerland came in 1st place of the 282 participants to take home €275K and an EPT title.

The next stop on the EPT's schedule is Barcelona on August 27. The buy-in is €5,000 + €300, and there is a 1,000 player cap on participation.

The venue is the Casino de Barcelona's Annexe at The Arts Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. The Main Event will receive television coverage, and the final table is set to play on September 1.

Plenty of cash games and side events will be running as well. Check the EPT's official website for more information.

Last season's EPT Barcelona was very successful with over 750 players participating. Kent Lundmark took down the top prize of €825K.

If the buy-ins are a bit too steep for your bankroll, the best way gain entry to these prestigious events is through satellites on PokerStars.

In Season 7, over 2,400 players who participated in EPT events won their seats through PokerStars satellites, including 3 eventual champions (the winners of EPT Tallinn, EPT Vienna, and EPT Berlin all won their seats online).

You can also play super-satellites to potentially turn just a few dollars into life-changing money.

Good luck to all of you in both EPT events and satellites!
