Roland De Wolfe Leads the PokerStars.com APPT Sydney Final Table
The 9 finalists for the season ending PokerStars.com APPT Sydney Main Event have been determined and Roland DeWolfe holds the chip lead while Daniel Negreanu is the short stack.The two PokerStrategists who started Day 3, BongBob and zhiv have both busted out.

The 32 players who started on Day 3 of the PokerStars.com APPT Sydney Main Event were all already guaranteed a minimum payout of AU$12,145. Two PokerStrategists were among the day's starters, but both of them did not make it into the final table.

BongBob was eliminated in 17th place and took home AU$15,610. PokerStrategist zhiv fared a little better, and went out in 12th place for AU$24,280.
Negreanu survives with 11 big blinds
Daniel Negreanu managed to play his way into the final table, but he only barely made it, finishing with just 11 big blinds. He will start the final table at the bottom of the pack with 267,000 chips.
Meanwhile, Roland De Wolfe (pictured right) will start the final table as a slight favourite for the AU$459,510 first place prize, as he leads with 1,663,000 chips. However, there is still much to play for as the top 3 are seperated by less than 3 big blinds.

Pocket pairs are no good for BongBob and zhiv
Both BongBob and zhiv played their final hands after getting all their chips in, with a pocket pair. BongBob was sent to the rails holding 9-9, after he 4-bet shoved after a 3-bet from In Wook Choi. Unfortunately, Choi called with K-K and BongBob could not catch a third nine to stay alive.
As for zhiv, he shoved 
from the big blind, after a button raise from Jonathan "xMONSTERDONGx" Karamalikis and a call from the small blind. Karamalikis folded, but the small blind called with 
, and they were off to the races. A king came on the flop, and zhiv went out when he got no help on the turn and river.
