Stephen Chidwick dominates the US Poker Open

Over $1.2 million in the bank for the British pro after a remarkable week at the tables in Las Vegas.

The second weeklong High Roller series from PokerGo has concluded with Keith Tilston winning the $50,000 Main Event, but it was Stephen Chidwick who was the MVP of the US Poker Open. 

Chidwick made five final tables in the eight event series. He won two of them, and came 2nd, 3rd and 5th in the others.  

Last week he cashed for a remarkable $1,256,650 in the series, which means he secured the Player of the Series title which everyone was playing for in this PGA-style series. 

That was enough money that he didn't even need to cash in the Main Event to secure the leaderboard, and eventually led that by more than $200,000.

Despite not taking down a title Daniel Negreanu had a number of near misses in the series. Justin Bonomo also continued his fine form with a win to extend his early lead in the overall 2018 money list (he now has $2,338,513 in winnings this year alone). You can see all the week's champions below:
