APPT Macau: Ivey 's gone, Chenny moves on, Chan going strong
Day 2 of the APPT Main Event in Macau is in the books and there are some big names quietly stalking towards the top of the leaderboard.
Phil Ivey had a frustrating time and sat perilously short stacked before capitulating late in the day.
Poker legend Johnny Chan has fared much better however; he sits with 244,000 chips, right in the mix with 105 players remaining. He's in good company with PokerStars Pros Randy "nanonoko" Lew (145,000) and Jose "Nacho" Barbero (257,400) both making day 3.
Your current chip leader is Nathaniel Seet who has amassed an enviable stack of 774,500. A shout goes out to MTT wiz and PokerStrategy.com member Jackson chenny8888 Zheng who makes day 3 with 55,000.

Roblcoaster in Macau
Word on the street is that the action is starting to really heat up in Macau this week.
It's no secret that most of the world's high stakes players have ventured to the 'Monte Carlo of the Orient' at some point, some faring better than others.
News filtered in today that high stakes pro Andrew Robl has been having mixed fortunes in Macau lately. He posts on his Twitter: "Been gambling big in Macau. Won 2 million USD straight and was very thankful. Now lost 2 million straight. Thankful for other things".

What a week it's been for Ilari "Ilari FIN" Sahamies. The charismatic Finnish high stakes pro has now leapt in front of PLO rival Rafi "refealamit" Amit after a sensational week long heater which has boosted his bankroll by over $1 million.
Sahamies now leads the yearly profit leaderboard according to HSDB, some $400,000 ahead of his Israeli counterpart who was seemingly uncatchable just one month ago.
Top honours for the day go to "doncarignano" who banked a tidy $118,404 while Ronny "1-ronnyr3" Kaiser was left nursing his wounds, stung for $95,018 on the day.
