The craziest bluff in Main Event history?

The best read ever or a wild gamble? A final tablist from last year pulled off a doozy of a bluff last night in the Main Event.

You may recall last year rapper Alejandro Lococo bust the Main Event final table with one of the craziest calls ever. He is making a very deep run again and may have just pulled off the craziest bluff in Main Event history.

Lococo opened from the Hijack and Karim Rebei defended the Big Blind. The flop went check check and the board read 987K on the turn.

Rebei bet 140,000, Lococo raised to 485,000 and Rebei raised to 1,135,000.

Lococo wanted to raise big (probably all-in), but accidentally min-raised to 1,785,000, which Rebei took the opportunity to 5-bet to 4 million. Lococo eventually came over the top all-in for his whole stack of 5,710,000, meaning Rebei only had to call 1,710,000 to win a pot of 8,510,000, with one card to come.

Rebei eventually folded and Lococo tabled AJ for just ace high with a gutshot. Nobody knows what Rebei folded. You can see the hand summarised by PokerGo below:

A reminder this was for Lococo's tournament life deep in the Main Event. He now goes into Day 6 4th in chips with 124 players remaining. 

A similar pot commiting bluff was caught on stream this last week, which didn't go to plan. Mike Matusow went all-in for his tournament life pushing all-in on the river for 390,000 over the top of a 175,000 3-bet. His opponent only needed to call another 215,000 more to win a 942,000 pot with a flush. 

Matusow defended his 'suicide bluff' afterwards in his post match interview.
