Venivid1993 completes $1 million PLO challenge
It took the better part of two years, but the PLO legend has profited for over $1 million at the online felt to complete his latest challenge.
PLO does not get the coverage it perhaps should, but this story will no doubt get a lot of people interested in the four card version of poker.
You may remember PLO beast Venivid1993 from the Galfond Challenge, where Phil Galfond pulled off the most epic of comebacks to win it.
The appeal of challenges did not dampen for Venivid1993, and in January 2023 he set a personal challenge to get his PLO bankroll up to $1 million (from $66k):

What followed on Twitter was weekly updates on the highs and lows of Pot Limit Omaha and PLO tournaments.
This week it ended, as not only did he get his bankroll up to seven-figures, his profit was over $1 million also:

As promised at the start of the challenge he will be donating 10% of his winnings to charity. He has now pledged to spend more time with his loved ones and less time at the tables, as he searches for his next challenge.
