WPT North American Poker Championship

Sebastian Ruthenberg is eager for his next title. After the WSOP bracelet and the EPT win, he now wants a WPT title.

Even though the World Poker Tour Enterprise is still stuck in a deep crisis, the WPT events are still some of the hottest No-Limit Hold'em tournaments in the tourney schedule. Sebastian Ruthenberg also knows this as he is now aiming for the triple in the North American Poker Championship (NAPC), hosted by the Fallsview Casino
Resort in Ontario, Canada.

99 Players still in the Race

After Day 2, 99 of previously 454 players are still in the race. Sebastian, who is also a PokerStrategy member, is in the upper third of the chip count with his 257,600 chips (average 137,576 chips), and thus has a good possibility to become only the second player to achieve this almost impossible feat.

Two EPT Winners at one Table

However, it is still a long way to go. Besides Sebastian, there are also other pros in contention, like Kathy Liebert, Jason Potter, Michael Watson, Sorel
Mizzi, Erik Seidel, Barry Greenstein, J.C. Tran and Lee Markholt amongst others. Sebastian will share his table with EPT Dortmund winner Mike McDonald today.

Many Pros already on the Rails

Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso, John Phan, Bill Gazes, Mark Seif and
Theo Tran are only some of the pros who were already eliminated.

Today at noon local time, the players start into Day 3, and about half of them will have to go home again without any prize money. Below now Sebastian's starting table on Day 3.
