WSOP APAC: Piccioli Leads Final Table in Event 1, PLO Antics Begin
After coming together in a wave of chip harmony, 175, including Jonathan Duhamel, players made it past the bubble and on towards the final of the WSOP APAC's Accumulator event earlier today.

As the final level of the night loomed, it was Jeremy Ausmus who brought the first event of this year's WSOP APAC to its final two tables. After watching Norman Shill move all-in on a 
flop, Ausmus went into the tank for five minutes before making the call with

hit on the turn and river he found himself out in 19th place AUD$9,049 richer.
As the field continued to shrink, one time chip leader Antoine Saout couldn't keep up with the pace and joined the likes of Jesse Sylvia, 
MelanieWeisner and Barry Greenstein on the rail before the close of play. As Antoine dreamt of what could have been, it was Bryan Piccioli who snatched the chip lead and will lead the field into tomorrow's final table.
While Piccioli took the lead in the AUD$1,100 Accumulator event, Andrew Gaw proved their PLO dominance in a stacked field. Lining up against the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Sam Trickett and Marvin 'xcrash154' Rettenmaier, Gaw managed to bag 69,800 chips and lead the event after the opening day.
