WSOP Europe kicks off in London

The WSOP Europe starts today in London as many top pros have already arrived to compete for the four WSOP bracelets that will be up for grabs.

WSOP Europe kicks off today at the Casino at the Empire in London, England. With four World Series of Poker bracelets up for grabs, many top pros have already confirmed their attendance, including Phil Ivey, Peter Eastgate, Ivan Demidov, Daniel Negreanu (pictured right), Phil Hellmuth and Jeffrey Lisandro.

Caesars Cup debut

The first of four events which will have a bracelet up for grabs is the £1,000 No Limit Hold'em. It will run for four days and have two starting days due to the large number of players expected to attend it. The other three events are £2,500 Mixed HA, £5,000 PLO and the £10,000 NLHE Main Event.

The WSOPE London will have another interesting event on the schedule - the first Caesars Cup. It is a team-based tournament in which the top European players go up against the top American players.
