The World Series of Zombies
If you are missing the Walking Dead as much as you are looking forward to the WSOP, this might be the comic for you.
Poker media expert and WSOP bracelet winner Chad Holloway has teamed up with Terry Huddleston to release a new comic, called The World Series of Zombies.
As the name suggests it will feature the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey as undead brain eating zombies at the WSOP.
The comic is expected to debut this year at the WSOP.
GPI to power WSOP rankings
Speaking of the WSOP, this year's Player of the Year Rankings will be compiled by the Global Poker Index, rather than Bluff Magazine.
This means that the EPT, WPT and now WSOP are powered by the GPI.
“The World Series of Poker is the most prestigious poker competition in the world and is also the most “sportified” series on the live tournament circuit,” said Global Poker Index CEO Alexander Dreyfus. “We are very honoured to have entered into this agreement with the WSOP and I am truly excited to develop several initiatives that will support the growth of the sport of poker.”

Now that she has got her law degree out of the way, PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst promoted the game in fine style on the Steve Harvey Show this week.
