Hellmuth shuts his mouth
Someone finally found a way to shut Phil Hellmuth's mouth recently and all it took was a beef burger.
Known for his propensity to talk, a lot, Hellmuth was seen as a perfect candidate to star in a new advert for fast-food chain Carl's Jr.
Sampling the new BBQ Thick packed with a beef patty, smoked brisket, fries and cheese, the burger looks to be a mouthful; even for someone with a jaw that's as active as Mr. Hellmuth's.
All joking aside, while the advert may be somewhat cheesy, the fact that another poker figure has made it into a national TV advert is certainly a positive for the game's image.

After an extended break from the virtual felt because of the WSOP, Chris Moorman returned with a vengeance on Sunday to claim his 21st Triple Crown.
Following a 19-hour session which began on Sunday morning, Moorman was able to bank just over $30,000 and take his online earning to $11,335,888.
The icing on the cake for the British pro was a win in the Sunday Winamax High Roller.
Having previously won the 6-max event three times, Moorman was able to cruise to a momentous and clinch the $20,000 top prize.
Moreover, his 21st title moved him even further ahead in the online Triple Crown race.

Poker commentator Joe Stapleton is never short of a joke or two when he's behind the microphone, but that's not the only place where he's funny.
In a bid to give Daniel Negreanu a birthday present he'd never forget, Stapleton combined two things in life that his Canadian friend is most passionate about: golf and Howard Lederer.
Loving one and hating the other, Negreanu will now be able to use them in perfect harmony thanks to the Howard Lederer golf balls Stapleton had made.
Aside from being the "funniest gift" he received, we're pretty sure Kid Poker will enjoy hitting Mr. Lederer across the golf course for many months to come.
Question of the Day
After an extended absence from the top of the high stakes chart, Gus Hansen enjoyed a return to form last night as he raked in $197,235 over the course of 741 hands.
The Dane's haul might not have made much impact on his online deficit (currently -$18,097,778), but it was enough to make him Monday's second biggest winner behind 'Trueteller' who banked $229,641.
Suffering at the hands of 'Trueteller' and Hansen was Viktor Blom. The young Swede dropped $174,253 to finish the day as the biggest loser ahead of Alexander Kostritsyn who also lost a six-figure sum.
