YouTube to allow poker links
A real shot in the arm for poker content creators as they now will be able to link to poker sites in their videos.
You may recall at the start of the year poker YouTubers were getting their channels removed, in what turned out to be mostly error. It led to a number of YouTubers, led by Jaime Staples, liaising with the platform to get them back.
Now it seems things are on the up for poker content creators on the platform, as Head of Gaming Lester Chen revealed that poker YouTubers can now link to approved poker sites:

According to the new policy the links need to be certified by YouTube or Google Ads, as well as comply with local regulations.
This really does open the door for content creators on the platform and in particular makes them a big rival to Twitch, where poker is thriving. Staples, who potentially was a big influence on Chen in this regard, was quick to point the same thing out:

So we can expect a wave of new online poker content on the channel for the rest of the year.
