nice surprise yesterday:
I had to test a HUD with a lot of NC edge badges. So I got a license for Notecaddy Edge Ultimate for free.
here you can see what's included:
http://www.notecaddyedge.com/notecaddy-edge-holdem-ultimate.html

I had no time to check the complete package, I will do this these days. I'm sure there are some interesting notes I can add to my popups. The badges are interesting too, but if I add lots of them, my HUD is getting to big.
When I'm done with reading all the instructions/definitions and add some of this stuff to my HUD/popups, I will present this here.
What I've seen so far: there are some interesting notes about 3bets preflop, I will add them to my 3bet popup later.

the i-net connection is better again, but my son is here and it's weekend. Yesterday I spent some time working, that's why I decided not to play a session. It was so fkn cold, we went to bed early and watched 3 Tom&Jerry Gold Classics DVDs :D
I'd really like to play, not sure if it works out tonight. I don't think my son will sleep early and I have to clean my HM mailbox.
next week will be plenty of time to play poker.
today it's sunny and we all need some fresh air after staying inside so much these days because of this horrible weather. now we eat Canjica (1st time I made it, but it's tasty) and then we go to the lake with our crazy dog.

so back to buissness tomorrow

finally back at the tables, I decided to play a 2 hour session, then have lunch and do my work for HM. I played 2 normal tables and 2 tables strobe.
I played good, no stupid calls, but overall I was down, because a few minutes before I wanted to quit I lost some big pots, set over set for 130BB, then QQ vs AK (fkn donk called my turnshove and hit his A on the river) and finally I lost this pot:

On Game, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

CO: $14.71 (147.1 bb)
BTN: $10.63 (106.3 bb)
SB: $18.18 (181.8 bb)
Hero (BB): $22.97 (229.7 bb)
MP: $5.53 (55.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K K
MP folds, CO raises to $0.30, BTN folds, SB calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.20, CO calls $0.90, SB calls $0.90

Flop: ($3.60) 4 T K (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, CO folds, SB raises to $8, Hero raises to $21.77 and is all-in, SB calls $8.98 and is all-in

Turn: ($37.56) 4 (2 players, 2 are all-in)
River: ($37.56) 2 (2 players, 2 are all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$37.56 pot ($2.50 rake)
Final Board: 4 T K 4 2
CO mucked and lost (-$1.20 net)
SB showed 4 4 and won $35.06 ($16.88 net)
Hero showed K K and won $0.00 (-$18.18 net)

could have been a nice session, but when the boards come down like this, it's impossible to make some winnings. but o.k. with RB I'm only slighty down and maybe I run better later. Sooner or later I will make profit, I just have to continue playing good, it's one big session.

I won't post the session graph, because the ongame handhistories for strobe are not always correct, I think most of the all in hands are missing, for example the QQ vs AK hand.

today I played a bigger session, about 3k hands, wasn't running good and so I was 6 stacks down.
I had a look at the bigger pots I lost, but nothing special, 2 flips in blindbattle, most of the money went to weak players in 3bet pots. they call 3bet, hit something and ship their 40 or 50BB on flop. This are spots I can't fold TPGK or an overpair, because they push anypair or draw.

I tried to replace coffee today and made some tea, but in the afternoon I had to drink my coffee. I can live more healthy, eat more fruits and have breakfast everyday, but I'm not sure if I can quit drinking coffee.

I started looking what stats are included in the NC pacckage and added some to my popups. but there are so many notes, it will take a while to read all the definitions and check out what can be usefull.
for now I only added some notes about 3bet/4bet ranges, the problem playing ongame is, that you can't see the mucked cards. this means you need a big sample to get some results.

time to sleep, tomorrow I'll be back at the tables

4,5k hands played today, 3 stacks up with RB. could have been better, but sometimes I was a little uncencentrated. for example I shoved QQ when I was 3bettet by a midstacker. normally no problem, but this guy bettet only 3% over a good sample and of course he showed me KK.

I really have to work on this and pay more attention sometimes. most of the midstake suckers have a wider 3betrange. it's a nobrainer to get the money in QQ. but must look at the stats before and then decide. I thought "fkn midstacker" and pushed insta.
next session I will force me to take some time before I click a button. and I'll make some breaks, because this happens when I play for quite a long time.
I could ask for a tiltbreaker license, but I think I can handle it to close the tables after 2 hrs and take the dog for a walk or sthg. :D

end of session I got a little tilty and so I decided to quit. when I start to flame the guys in chat it's always time to stop. I called the guy a donk, and he was donk for sure. he lost stack after stack pushing all in preflop or flop. everybody took his money, and when it was finally my turn to stack him he sucked twice.

now it's time to relax a little, I go to bed and watch the wire.

today only a 2hr 6max session, then I had to clean and other women stuff :rage:

at night I played some HU SNG and some cash game, but only NL2, I don't have so much money at WPN and I'm still a fish :(

but I was running good, 542 hands and almost 5 stacks up. most of the money from one guy, first he played kind of normal, but 3bettet a lot. then he barreled all the streets and I called him down with anypair. I think he got pissed and started tilting, openraise 9-10 BB, 3bettet me all the time. I kept winning and he started pushing all in any2. I think he lost 8 stacks like this.
2nd table I lost some money, this guy played 50/2 but when I had a strong hand he always had a better. I lost 2pair vs set, set vs straight and AK vs AA.

but I had some nice hands too today, in the afternoon a straight flush (to lazy to search for the hand now) and in HU this hand:

WPN, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 2 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $2.61 (130.5 bb)
Hero (BB): $2.28 (114 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A A
SB raises to $0.06, Hero raises to $0.18, SB calls $0.12

Flop: ($0.36) A Q K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.23, SB raises to $2.43, Hero calls $1.87

Turn: ($4.56) A (2 players)
River: ($4.56) 5 (2 players)

Results:

Spoiler

$4.56 pot ($0.22 rake)
Final Board: A Q K A 5
SB showed K Q and lost (-$2.28 net)
Hero showed A A and won $4.34 ($2.06 net)

I didn't play a lot this weekend, yesterday late at night some HU SnG and later 2 tables HU, session ended BE. especially HU CG was horrible, I had a real donk at the left table and stacked him all the time. but what I won at this table I lost at the 2nd table. I'm sure I missplayed some hands, but in big pots I had always a good hand, and he always had a better.
today I played only some hands 6 max, I quit really fast because I got pissed losing all the time against absolutly retarded donks.

tomorrow I won't play, I will spend some time with my son and later I will work. I need a little break.

I had my little break, I added some notes to my popups and worked in the book exploiting regulars.

today I played a small session and was slightly up. It was planned to play another session later, but I made some bugtesting which took more time than expexted.
I opened some MTT at unibet to test if HUD works without problems. I don't like playing MTT, and normally when I play some for testing I always make some stupid moves and I'm out soon. I don't care because HM refunds me the BI.
I registered for 5 tourneys, highest BI was 3,30€. They didn't at the same time so I tried to keep alive in the first tourneys, I didn't make some stupid moves.
I got a nice stack in one of the tourneys and I tried to play reasonable. most of the time I was in the top 3. I reached the final table and was 2nd in chips. then I was without electricity. after a while my no-break was empty too and I got disconnected. I took my 2nd no break and electricty came back, but I lost 1/4 of may stack. good thing was, only 3 left.
I played some hands and again electricity gone. 2nd. no-break and 15-20 minutes left to play. my stack wasn't so good anymore, I had about 34k, 2nd 65k and CL 124k.
I then I got 89s and flop came down 67T, and I got it in against QQ (against the 2nd placed).
I guess he got pissed and shoved next hand:
Prima, $10 Buy-in (800/1,600 blinds, 160 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 3 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: 33,913 (21.2 bb)
Hero (BB): 67,740 (42.3 bb)
BTN: 124,347 (77.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4 K
BTN folds, SB raises to 33,753 and is all-in, Hero calls 32,153

Flop: (67,986) 5 6 J (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Turn: (67,986) K (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: (67,986) A (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

67,986 pot
Final Board: 5 6 J K A
SB showed 7 9 and lost (-33,913 net)
Hero showed 4 K and won 67,986 (34,073 net)

I'm sure this was not a good call, but I stacked him the hand before and I was running out of time.
keyhand against the chipleader was this:
Prima, $10 Buy-in (800/1,600 blinds, 160 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 2 Players

Hero (SB): 101,813 (63.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J K
Hero raises to 6,400, BB calls 4,800

Flop: (13,120) K A 4 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets 13,120, BB raises to 32,800, Hero raises to 95,253 and is all-in, BB calls 62,453

Turn: (203,626) 6 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: (203,626) 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

203,626 pot
Final Board: K A 4 6 8
Hero showed J K and won 203,626 (101,813 net)
BB showed 4 4 and lost (-101,813 net)

I think I can go broke here, I have the flushdraw and 2pair outs. (o.k. he had a set, and I sucked him).
but I'm absolutly no tourney player, maybe I'm wrong. when you have electricity for max 5 minutes, this is an All In for sure

the rest was easy, I let him double up to give him some hope, and then I sucked him again with a nice 3outer

Prima, $10 Buy-in (800/1,600 blinds, 160 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 2 Players

Hero (BB): 188,452 (117.8 bb)
SB: 37,548 (23.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A 3
SB raises to 37,388 and is all-in, Hero calls 35,788

Flop: (75,096) K 6 3 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Turn: (75,096) 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: (75,096) 5 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

75,096 pot
Final Board: K 6 3 8 5
Hero showed A 3 and won 75,096 (37,548 net)
SB showed A 4 and lost (-37,548 net)

:nh

Spoiler

it's not so much money, but I normally don't play tourneys, not even the freelancer freeroll, and this is a nice result. BI refunded and a part of the time played paid by HM :fuckyeah

2 minutes after tourney ended my no-break gave up.

I like the notes below, they show the the hands someone goes broke in relation to the rel. stacksize.

hehe, this would be nice, and I think they would refund the BI if there was a sunday million specific problem. but I wouldn't test, I have no patience to play so many hrs.

this weekend I was busy (saturday was a party in my son's school, yesterday was dia dos pais).
saturday I played a small HU session, in fact I was testing for HM. my opponent was very passive, he openraised 45%, and completed the rest. fold was no option in SB. his Cbet was 25%.
I tried to be aggressive and take down a lot of limped pots by donking any hit/draw/GS and raised good hands in BB. as PFR I bettet almost always because he folded 67% to Cbets.
he was so passive, he didn't even Cbet an overpair, he checked back QQ flop and turn, river I made a small bet to take the pot down and he called. overall I was a little up, could have been better, but I lost 2 big pots with 2 pair against a set.

Today I will play some more hands, I got up 7, breakfast, at 8 my boy went to school, now I take care of my forum, read the news and then I play a session. midday I'll eat smthg, take the dog for a walk, work a little bit and later I play another session.

ta bom.

a primeira sessão não foi ruim (5 mesas NL10). infelizmente perdi um flip AKs vs 66 BTN vs. BB. ele estava muito agressivo e foi All In light.

first session wasn't bad, I lost a flip with AK vs 66 BTN vs BB. he was very aggro and pushed very light.

good spot to squeeze, but MP calls. nitty player 20/12 VPIP/PFR, RFI EP 17%, fold to 3bet 35%, fold to Cbet 3bet pot 60%, raise CB 3bet pot 15%

I tried to take the pot down because of his fold to Cbet in 3bet pots. should have checkfolded, he has a lot of aces in his range and he can minraise here with a lot (pockets, draws).
this was burning money, the value in this hand was in the squeeze, should have given up flop without hit.

Eu tentei vencer o pot Por causa de seu fold to cbet in 3bet pot. Eu deveria checkfold, ele tem um monte de aces em sua range e pode minraise aqui com muito (pockets, draws).
dinheiro queimado, o valor nesta mão era no squeeze, deveria ter desisitido no Flop.

everytime I think I have enough time to play something else comes up. tuesday my son is sick and I had to take him to a doctor. so I played only some HU SnG at night, I thin I was a little up, but HM doesn't track them correct.
yesterday I played a lot, but only for HM tests, I played a lot of seed poker hands at Ipoker, a MTT, a little PLO.
I played a small session 6max at Ongame too, but nothing special happened. I won 2 preflop All In and lost a lot of money against an aggro fish. he played 66/35, I isolated him all the time with good hands and didn't hit a flop. problem was he always donked flop potsize so I had to give up most of the time. I didn't want to call him down with marginal hands because he bettet pot all streets.

here is the session, non showdown winnings horrible

I wanted to play another session at night, but it was really stormy and I had some disconnects, so I had little chat with a friend from the HM testing team. He told me that the company which ownes HM also owns CR. when he asked if I would like a free account, I didn't say no of course.
So I'll get a CR account with full access to videos and forum for free :nh
I checked my mails a few times this morning, but it's stoll not set up, I'm curious what content they have.

I played a small session this morning, here's the result:

nothing special, nothing missplayed, I liked this hand:
villain played 20/6 2% 3bet. I knew he was very strong but I never fold against min3bets. superflop for me, I minraise because I was sure he would shove his overpair and that's what he did.

On Game, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

BB: $11.33 (113.3 bb)

BTN: $9.89 (98.9 bb)
SB: $4.95 (49.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A 5
MP folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BTN folds, SB raises to $0.50, BB folds, Hero calls $0.20

Flop: ($1.10) 2 4 3 (2 players)
SB bets $1.10, Hero raises to $2.20, SB raises to $4.45 and is all-in, Hero calls $2.25

Turn: ($10) 7 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($10) 9 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

$10 pot ($0.66 rake)
Final Board: 2 4 3 7 9
Hero showed A 5 and won $9.34 ($4.39 net)
SB showed Q Q and lost (-$4.95 net)

something else not really poker related: I tested a new program to take screenshots or produce videos: Snagit
really easy to use, and you can connect it with screencast.com where you can upload your videos etc.

I'm sick and my son is here. I didn't work today or play a session, but I had a look what vids they have on Cardrunners and downloaded some. I watched 2, HU SnG from the scratch from PrimordialAA.
next week I have to play more hands, I'm not happy with the volume I played in the last weeks. no problem if I there is much to do at work or I have to take care of my son, but so often I had no connection (yesterday again, there was a storm) or something else.
I also will continue with theorie, I'm planning to watch the yourdoom series again.
The cardrunners vids can wait, I will download some over night, but for now I'll stay with stuff I already have. I got a year access, so I can watch them in future.
I also have so many vids I still haven't seen, many series from DC, daily variance etc. I just had a look, I have more than 30GB of pokervids from other sites than pokerstrategy on this laptop 8o
but the most important thing is now to play more. I feel good at the tables again and want to play.
